“Patterns” Art Exhibition 2017, USA
The gallery’s competition for November 2017 was the “Patterns, Textures and Forms” Online Art Competition. 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world, were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s December 2017 online group art exhibition.
Artists were asked for their interpretation of the theme “Patterns”. The gallery accepted art which was representative or in abstract form for possible inclusion into this art exhibition.
The art competition and the submission process for the artists began on October 10th 2017 and concluded on November 26, 2017. The gallery received 581 entries from 19 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Romania, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and Wales. In addition, the gallery received entries from 32 different states.
The exhibition has been divided into three media categories. Painting & Other Media, Photography & Digital and 3D Art. In addition, there is an overall Winning Artists Category, which is the “best of the best” and consists of the ten (10) best entries comprised from the 3 media categories.
The gallery also included Special Merit awards and Special Recognition awards for outstanding art.
